Everything You Need to Know Before Booking Your Creative Workshop
Welcome to I'm Crafty, where creativity comes to life! Whether you're looking for Addi Express knitting machine classes, other interesting arts and crafts workshops or simply a fun way to learn a new skill, we're here to help you every step of the way.
Our workshops are designed to be welcoming, relaxed and inspiring, giving you the confidence to create beautiful handmade projects while learning from experienced instructors with other fellow crafty crafters in a fun, supportive welcoming environment
Who Can Attend Our Classes?
Our creative workshops are suitable for:
- Complete beginners with no previous experience
- Intermediate crafters wanting to improve their skills
- Experienced makers looking to learn new techniques
- Adults and minors from 12years+ (minors aged 12-16yrs must be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian)
Whether you're learning to use an Addi Express 46 Needle Circular Knitting Machine, creating handmade gifts, or exploring a brand-new craft, our classes are designed to help you succeed at your own pace.

Private Craft Lessons
Looking for personalised tuition?
We offer private one-on-one tuition or group (from 6-20 pax) craft lessons by appointment.
Private lessons are perfect if you would like to:
- Learn at your own pace
- Receive individual guidance
- Master specific techniques
- Build confidence quickly
- Organise a private group experience with a friend
Private classes are available by prior arrangement.
Workshop Bookings
Full Payment
Full payment is required to secure your booking.
As class numbers are limited, places cannot be held without payment.
Minimum Class Numbers
To provide the best learning experience, workshops require minimum enrolments before proceeding. At present that number is 6 pax.
If minimum numbers are not reached:
- We will contact you as soon as possible.
- You may transfer to another class.
- Receive a class credit.
- Request a full refund.
Cancellation Policy
More than 7 days before your class
You may:
- Transfer your booking
- Reschedule
- Receive a full refund
Between 7 days and 24 hours
We will gladly provide a class credit.
Refunds may be available if your place can be filled.
Less than 24 hours
Unfortunately, refunds or credits cannot be provided due to class preparation and reserved seating.
Classroom Etiquette
To help everyone enjoy their workshop, we kindly ask that you:
Arrive 5–10 minutes early
Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Respect fellow students and instructors
Keep mobile phones on silent
Step outside if you need to answer a phone call
Celebrate everyone's creative journey
Remember—there are no mistakes, only learning opportunities.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Every workshop is different.
If materials are required, these will be listed on the Angel Lights Co. website to inform you before you book a class.
Many workshops include materials, while others may ask you to bring specific items.
Where applicable, materials can also be purchased before class begins. Please ensure your items are paid in full or payment plans are agreed to before your class.
Where Are Classes Held?
Our creative workshops are held in comfortable teaching venues around the Perth metro area, designed to provide a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience.
Venue details, parking information and arrival instructions are included with your booking confirmation.

If you have mobility requirements or require additional assistance, please contact us before booking so we can help make your visit comfortable.
Parking & Public Transport
Most of our workshop venues offer convenient parking and public transport access.

To ensure everyone enjoys a safe and comfortable workshop, we ask participants to:
- Practise good hand hygiene
- Wear a mask where necessary
- Respect personal space where appropriate
