1. Purpose of this Policy
Angel Lights Co. recognises that artificial intelligence (“AI”) and other automated technologies are increasingly used in modern business environments.
Angel Lights Co. may use AI-enabled and automated technologies as part of its business and information-handling environment.
We are committed to using these technologies responsibly and taking reasonable steps to protect personal information, confidential information, business information and intellectual property.
This Policy explains, at a general level, how personal information may be handled in connection with AI-enabled and automated technologies.
This Policy should be read together with the Angel Lights Co. Privacy Policy, which remains the principal document governing how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.
2. Our Approach to AI
AI technologies, service providers and business systems may change from time to time.
For reasons including commercial confidentiality, security, intellectual property protection and protection of our competitive business position, Angel Lights Co. does not publicly disclose:
- individual AI tools or applications;
- individual technology or AI providers;
- specific systems or configurations;
- prompts, instructions or methodologies;
- proprietary workflows or automation processes;
- internal integrations or system architecture;
- commercially sensitive AI strategies; or
- other confidential business methods or information.
This Policy is intended to provide meaningful privacy information without requiring Angel Lights Co. to disclose confidential technology arrangements or competitive business strategies.
3. Personal Information and AI
Personal information collected, held or otherwise managed by Angel Lights Co. may, depending on the circumstances, be processed through AI-enabled or automated technologies.
Information that may potentially be processed is consistent with the categories described in our Privacy Policy and may include:
- contact information;
- transaction information;
- customer communications;
- preferences;
- website interaction information;
- marketing information;
- reviews and feedback; and
- other personal information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Not all personal information will necessarily be processed through AI-enabled technologies.
The particular information involved will depend on the circumstances, the relevant system and the purpose for which the information is being handled.
Personal information remains subject to applicable privacy obligations when it is processed through AI-enabled technologies.
4. Information Minimisation
Angel Lights Co. aims to limit personal information provided to AI-enabled systems to information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Where practicable, information may be:
- minimised;
- aggregated;
- de-identified; or
- handled in a form that reduces unnecessary identification of individuals.
We take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary collection, use or disclosure of personal information.
5. Sensitive, Confidential and High-Risk Information
Angel Lights Co. takes particular care when handling information that may present increased privacy, confidentiality or security risks.
Where reasonably practicable, we seek to avoid unnecessarily providing AI-enabled technologies with information such as:
- payment security information;
- passwords;
- authentication credentials;
- online banking credentials;
- government identification information;
- health or other sensitive information;
- highly confidential personal information;
- confidential information belonging to another person or organisation; or
- other information that should reasonably remain confidential.
Where such information is required to be handled for a legitimate business, legal, security or operational purpose, it will be managed in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and the Angel Lights Co. Privacy Policy.
6. Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Where personal information is processed through AI-enabled or automated technologies, Angel Lights Co. will handle that information consistently with its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law.
Personal information will be used and disclosed for the purposes for which it was collected and otherwise as permitted by applicable law.
Where required, Angel Lights Co. will seek consent before using or disclosing personal information for a purpose that is not otherwise permitted by law.
Australian privacy law also permits personal information to be used or disclosed in certain circumstances without separate consent.
7. Third-Party Technology Providers
Angel Lights Co. relies on third-party technology and service providers to support aspects of its business.
Some of these providers may process personal information on behalf of Angel Lights Co.
Third-party providers may change from time to time.
Angel Lights Co. takes reasonable steps to select service providers that are appropriate for the services they provide and to address relevant privacy and security considerations.
Third-party providers may handle information in accordance with:
- applicable privacy requirements;
- their own applicable terms and privacy policies;
- contractual arrangements with Angel Lights Co.; and
- other applicable legal obligations.
Individual AI providers, applications and technology platforms are intentionally not identified in this public Policy.
8. Overseas Processing and Disclosure
Some third-party technology and service providers used by Angel Lights Co. may be located overseas or may store, access or process information outside Australia.
As described in our Privacy Policy, overseas recipients may be located in countries including countries within:
- the South-East Asia and Pacific region;
- the European Union;
- the United States of America;
- Canada;
- Brazil;
- South and Central America; and
- other countries where our service providers operate.
The countries in which information is processed may change as our service providers and technology environment change.
Where required by Australian privacy law, Angel Lights Co. will take reasonable steps in relation to overseas disclosures, including addressing applicable obligations under Australian Privacy Principle 8.
Angel Lights Co. does not guarantee that personal information will always be stored or processed exclusively within Australia.
9. Retention and Deletion
Personal information processed through AI-enabled or automated technologies remains subject to Angel Lights Co.'s general information-retention practices and applicable legal requirements.
Information may be retained where reasonably necessary for purposes including:
- providing products or services;
- maintaining business and transaction records;
- accounting and taxation requirements;
- legal or regulatory obligations;
- resolving disputes;
- security and fraud prevention;
- protecting our legal rights and interests; or
- other purposes permitted or required by law.
When personal information is no longer required and there is no legal or legitimate reason to retain it, Angel Lights Co. will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Deletion may not always be immediate or technically possible across every system, backup or third-party environment.
10. Accuracy and AI-Generated Information
AI-generated or AI-assisted information may be incomplete, inaccurate or misleading.
Angel Lights Co. recognises that responsibility for information does not automatically transfer to an AI or automated system.
Where appropriate, AI-generated or AI-assisted information may be reviewed, verified or corrected before being relied upon or communicated.
Angel Lights Co. takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal information it collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up to date having regard to the purpose for which it is used or disclosed.
11. Human Oversight
The use of AI does not remove Angel Lights Co.'s responsibility for appropriate handling of personal information.
Depending on the nature, sensitivity and potential consequences of a particular AI-assisted or automated process, Angel Lights Co. may apply appropriate:
- human review;
- verification;
- approval;
- monitoring;
- intervention; or
- correction.
The level of human oversight may vary according to the circumstances.
12. Automated Decision-Making
Angel Lights Co. may use automated or AI-assisted technologies.
Where applicable Australian privacy law requires additional information about automated decision-making, Angel Lights Co. will provide the information required by law.
From 10 December 2026, additional Australian Privacy Principle 1 requirements will apply to certain automated decisions involving personal information where the decision could reasonably be expected to significantly affect an individual's rights or interests.
Angel Lights Co. will review its practices and privacy documentation as necessary to address applicable legal requirements.
13. Information Security
Angel Lights Co. takes reasonable steps to protect personal information against:
- misuse;
- interference;
- loss;
- unauthorised access;
- unauthorised modification; and
- unauthorised disclosure.
Security measures may include appropriate access controls, authentication, information-handling procedures, system safeguards and technology practices appropriate to the circumstances.
However, no electronic system or method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Commercial Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
Angel Lights Co. considers its technology systems, business processes, methodologies, workflows, configurations, strategies, prompts, instructions, integrations and technology relationships to potentially constitute confidential or commercially sensitive information.
Nothing in this Policy requires Angel Lights Co. to disclose confidential business information, intellectual property or competitive methodologies unless disclosure is required by law.
This Policy is intentionally designed to provide appropriate privacy transparency without revealing Angel Lights Co.'s competitive technology strategy or proprietary business methods.
15. Privacy Rights
The use of AI does not remove or reduce an individual's applicable privacy rights.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, individuals may have rights relating to:
- access to personal information;
- correction of personal information;
- making a privacy complaint;
- withdrawing consent where consent is the relevant basis for processing; and
- other rights available under applicable privacy legislation.

16. Privacy Enquiries and Complaints
Questions, concerns or complaints about the handling of personal information, including information potentially processed through AI-enabled technologies, may be directed to:

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the option of contacting the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
17. Relationship with the Privacy Policy
This AI Policy is a supplementary policy and should be read together with the Angel Lights Co. Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy remains the primary document governing:
- collection;
- holding;
- use;
- disclosure;
- security;
- access;
- correction;
- retention; and
- management of personal information.
This AI Policy does not create a separate guarantee that information will always be stored in Australia, deleted immediately, or processed without third-party technology.
Where there is an inconsistency between this AI Policy and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy will apply to the extent permitted by law.
18. Changes to this Policy
AI technologies, business systems, service providers, security practices and privacy requirements may change over time.
Angel Lights Co. may update this Policy where appropriate to reflect:
- changes in technology;
- changes in business practices;
- changes in service providers;
- changes in privacy or other legal requirements;
- changes in security practices; or
- other material developments.
The current version of this Policy will be made available on the Angel Lights Co. website.
